I bought the Rusty character from Bluey and we just opened it and the red clay (the main color of the dog) is completely hardened and so we can’t build this figure! Useless and of course we’re out of our return window since it was opened today.

I was not impressed with this Bluey air-drying clay kit. My grandchildren love Bluey, but this kit was too hard for them to try to make the Bluey figure. The colors of clay are pretty and accurate, but I think the given age range of 4-8 starts too low for most children to actually try to make the Bluey figure.My grandchildren played with the air-drying clay for a few days, and although I made sure it got put away in the little sealed containers after every play session, the clay became harder and harder every day, until after about 4-5 days, it was unusable. I do note that they really enjoyed playing with it, however, and the colors of the clay were nice and bright.My grandson made a panther (see photo ;-), rather than Bluey (because it did not require piecing together multiple colors of clay). However, this was towards the end of the lifespan of the air-drying clay, and it would not stick together well anymore.I do not think this was a good value for this clay. The list price for 5 small containers was about $13. Children have an equal amount of fun with products such as Play-Doh or its equivalents, for about one-fourth the price. A search on Amazon for Play-Doh returned a pack of 10 2-oz jars of Play-Doh for about $8 - twice as much for about half the price. I do note the ad states that this clay does not stick to things like Play-Doh does, and that is true.

This Bingo-only Bluey clay kit is a fun and creative activity, and my daughter was excited to make Bingo. The clay is very soft, easy to mold, and nicer than Play-Doh, which made it enjoyable to work with.Although the box says ages 3+, my creative 6-year-old needed a lot of guidance. You must download the HeyClay app to follow the short, step-by-step videos, which I liked because they’re broken into manageable pieces. However, the clay containers aren’t labeled by color, even though the videos refer to specific shades, which caused some confusion. This wouldn’t be a big deal, except there were 3 very similar shades in our kit that we had to keep in order.The project took over an hour, and many of the smaller details (arms, thumbs, eyebrows, nose) were difficult for a child. The kit comes with plenty of clay, but the finished result was disappointing, because after a couple of days, the clay didn’t fully harden and one of Bingo’s ears fell off.Overall, my daughter had fun and said she would do it again, but the difficulty level and durability issues hold it back. This is a cute idea with great-feeling clay, but better for older kids with adult help and the finished product doesn’t fully hold up.

Our entire family are huge fans of Bluey, and we love doing crafts together on the weekends. I ordered this kit knowing my eight year old daughter would be immediately excited, and it absolutely delivered.The clay itself is great quality and easy to work with, but what really impressed us was the Hey Clay app and its step by step guidance for building Snickers. The instructions were clear and encouraging, which gave her the confidence to follow along independently. The kit also includes extra clay, which meant the fun did not stop after finishing the main character.Inspired by the colors and her success with Snickers, she went on to create a small potted flower entirely on her own. This kit ended up being more than just a craft activity. It brought big fun, creative momentum, and a noticeable confidence boost for my artistic daughter.

We chose the Bluey model, and created it today. We did not download the app, as I wanted this to be screen free fun - had we downloaded the app she would have stopped playing with the clay, and got lost in the Hey Clay app.She was curious as to where the instructions were, so we just did our best to copy the box! I think she did an awesome job! Bluey is now outside air drying!She found parts of this a little tricky, so adult help was needed!All in all she enjoyed making Bluey - and sculpting with the remaining clay.

The little tubs of colored clay were quite small—much smaller than I had anticipated. However, the clay itself is excellent quality. It’s soft, easy to work with, and holds its shape nicely. The box includes step-by-step directions for making various Bluey characters, which is a fun idea, but it doesn’t come with every single color you’d need to make them exactly as shown. That’s not the end of the world, just something to be aware of if your child is very particular about matching the characters on the box. My 6-year-old granddaughter ended up having the most fun using her imagination and creating her own little designs instead of trying to copy the characters. She didn’t seem to mind the missing colors at all, and she’s been happily playing with the clay ever since. In that sense, it definitely did its job as an engaging, creative activity. I’m still not entirely sure I would purchase this specific set again, mainly because I feel you could probably go to a craft store and find a comparable set of colored clay for a much cheaper price. This is adorable! The app is easy to download and use to teach you how to build your Bluey character. This one is the dog who's name I don't know, because I don't watch Bluey. My kiddo, however, is obsessed. It includes enough to make one decently large doggo or ancouple little ones. The one in the picture is little and we had enough clay left over to make a second one.At $8 it is a good value since it truly teaches you how to make it. The clay is soft and easy to work with. It isn't overly sticky and the colors are exactly what you need.

This clay Bingo DIY kit was such a fun activity! The app made it really easy for my preschooler to follow along with some help and guidance from a patient adult. The step by step directions were clear, and the quick overview guide showing each piece “dissected” was especially helpful. Honestly, I was pretty impressed with how Bingo turned out considering how simple the process was.The only slightly confusing part was differentiating between the orange clay colors for this project. A couple of shades were very close, so we mixed one up, and getting the piece sizes just right took a little practice. That said, it didn’t take away from the overall experience.The app was easy to install, the kit came with helpful tools, and there was enough clay to make more than one figure, which was a nice bonus. Overall, this was a very fun, engaging activity, and I’ll definitely be buying another kit to make with my child.

I got this air drying clay for my daughter to use. She is eleven and loves creating crafts, and also likes this blue dog character. There is a reasonably good amount of clay included in this box. It’s not very big, but lots of little things can be made with the amount included. My daughter followed the app instructions to create the pictured doggie, then used most of the remaining clay to make some cute accessories. The colors are perfectly matched with the character they are designed to be shaped into. The clay is pretty soft, not really sticky, and easy to shape. I am satisfied with this air drying clay, I consider it to be a good value at the sale price, and I would recommend this product for crafty kids.

This is a fun kit that my child and I really enjoyed building together. It comes with all the colors you need, and even some extra to play with at the ends. There’s a QR code on the inside that connects to app and shows you step by step how to build the character. The texture of the clay is smooth and cloud-like. It’s really soothing to play with this. The materials seem to be high quality and shape and dry very well. Easy to clean off your hands and didn’t really stick much to my skin.

This has a great assortment of colors, so it’s good for making Snickers, or the kids can make whatever they want honestly. The QR code inside leads you to download the hey clay app which has the instructions, I don’t love that you need to download an app to get the instructions, but it does seem like a legitimate app. The clay comes in resealable containers which my kids are not able to open by themselves, which is nice, so you do have control as the grown-up over when the activity happens. Overall, seems like a fun gift and bonding activity in one.

This is a really nicely made set. All colors are vibrant and the clay is soft, but firm enough for proper sculpting. That they took the extra time to stamp each one with a cute face is a really nice touch, and does make it feel more inviting vs. just some activity.Just a note that there are no instructions in the box. You'll have to view them online, so just be prepared for that. For any child that's sculpted clay before, it shouldn't be too hard. And honestly, even if it doesn't come out perfect, that's the joy of clay. The doing is the fun part, less so than the outcome.

Tolle Knete, welche Vorallem im Gegensatz zu der, der anderen bekannten Knetmarke, nicht krümelt. Einzig die Anleitung für die Figuren, welche online per App angeschaut wird, ist relativ schwer zu verstehen und für kleine Kinder meiner Meinung nach viel zu schwer. Eher ab 7-8 Jährige Kinder geeignet, sofern die Figuren gebaut werden sollen.Zum einfachen kneten aber auch toll für jüngere Kinder.

Always a win! Hey Clarno’s awesome, add Bluey and we get hours of fun. Even grandma likes squishing Hey Clay.

This was such a fun present for my daughter's 8 year old friend. They played together making the characters and didn't ask for the iPad once.

My wife was right! There you have it. I'll admit it but only on this occasion! She warned against buying cheaper imitations but I did a couple of times before trying Hey Clay. The game changer here is the Android App that gives you instructions on how to make a huge number of different things. The animations are really fun and mean that my 6 and 8 year old spent weeks building things with the three boxes of this that we bought. Plus there's still loads left.
