The clay was soft and easy to manipulate. The color was vibrant and even. I have tried to color air dry clay before and it is pretty difficult to mix colors evenly. Not to mention MESSY! So this is a way better option!The app was very helpful and provided step by step instructions. I ordered this so my niece and I could explore modeling clay together. The app again was instrumental in making this craft experiment work. I don't do alot of work with clay which is why I thought a fun kit would work for us. And it did! I plan on purchasing more kits from this company so we can explore more since this one turned out to be so much fun.I like that they offer a small kit to kind of introduce you to their system. Its very helpful because who wants to spend a bunch of money on something just to find out that its not so fun? Not me. That makes this particular kit a good value for the cost.

My daughter is really into air-dry clay right now and when I stumbled across this product, I knew she'd love it, as it combines her love of unicorns with her love of crafting. The fun app with directions makes it even more interactive and entertaining for her. The clay is adorable- it comes with little imprints on them when you first open and the quality feels just as good as the brand-name we've used. It's not at all sticky and molds very easily. When she was done, she actually had a decent amount of product left over, so she was able to get creative and make some of her own original designs. We let the clay dry overnight and it melded together well. Feels pretty sturdy and durable, so hopefully it doesn't fall apart. All in all, these are a great value and I'll definitely consider getting them as gifts.

This is really a wonderful, complete kit for your kiddo (or yourself!). Everything you need is included, and the app is very thorough in guiding for each step to create your own cute lil creatures. I love how vibrant the colors are, and my kids LOVED the airy, light feel of the clay. My son said,"it's sooo satisfying!" Perfect indoor activity for rainy or colder days, and a good value for the price.

For a child that likes making clay crafts, this is an easy kit to use. You get all of the colors you need. The clay is a foam texture type of clay. So clean up is easy. It didn't have much of a smell, but I wasn't putting it up to my nose. Just gave it to the kids to play with. The app does require you to sign-up, so kids will still need your help. I didn't use the app because it required an email to log-in and I get kits for my kids to use on their own without my help. So far it has held up, so I'll probably get some of the other kits for my kids.

Feedback from 16 year old: This kit was so easy to use and so much fun. The clay had a really satisfying feel and dried without cracking. You get all the clay you need with extra, and step by step instructions are available in an app to ensure that your creation turns out amazing. In addition to the unicorn our teen had enough clay to make 3 more of her own creations - which was a nice bonus.There is a slightly annoying AI/robot voice in the step by step instructions, which is the one negative.

Did my kid follow the instructions to make the cool unicorn on the box? No. But did she have fun with the clay anyway? Yes! This is a cute little set. I can see it as a stocking stuffer for sure. Though it does ask you to download an app to build the unicorn depicted, which I wasn't too keen on doing. But as it turns out, my daughter wasn't interested in being told what to make with it so it worked out in the end. The clay is easy to work with and the colors are vibrant. Her creations dried overnight with no issues.

It feels like playdoh and it smells like playdoh. The plastic pots of modeling clay are smaller than I think they should be for the price point. The pots measure 2 3/16 inches across and 1 1/16 inch tall. Two pots contain double colours with a plastic divider, which the black and white clay stuck to and pulled out of the container, mixing a little of the clay before we even started a project. I'm not a fan of the pot design at all. The orange, pink, black and white each contain about 1.5 tablespoons of clay, and the solid yellow is less than 1/4 cup. Very expensive clay. I'm not into apps so we'll just use the picture so create Sunny the Unicorn. Cute idea. Poor execution. The black and white clays were both so sticky they were not nice to work with. I think this might be okay for older children but younger kids will leave it out to harden and ruin it. Nice colors. I don't think I'd buy this again but the pictures of the animals are inspiring.

Super bright colors and interesting texture (stretchy kind of like Silly Putty but not as slick) made this a fun surprise for my 5-year-old grandson. We did not download the app but instead let him use his own creativity. Saved some for another day--will update review if it dries out, but packaged in nice little sealed containers and contains 5 colors.

This is a cute idea but it’s literally just like model magic air dry clay. The texture and everything is the same, super light and stretchy. The thing that sets this kit apart is actually really annoying to get started. You aren’t simply going to open the box and make a unicorn (or maybe you do) but I had to download the app, create an account, verify my account over my email, re login and THEN I could scan the QR code to get step by step directions to build the unicorn. This was supposed to be for my kids, but it needed heavy adult involvement to get moving and I ended up making the unicorn which looks very much like a Pinterest fail. I’m giving it 3 stars because it’s a cute set/idea but the work load to get it up and going for what it actually is is crazy to me. By the time I got the whole thing set up the kid still needed my help to go through the directions and pages. I would say maybe 9 and up-think of this like a Lego set. Is your kid excited to do it, patient, self driven and can follow directions? Awesome. If not have fun building it yourself. I personally wouldn’t get more of these for the same reasons I stopped buying Legos. My kids are happy to just use the clay their own way and be creative without the rules.

The Hey Clay - air dry clay is great in that it doesn’t stick to hands or stain hands. It initially feels sticky but it isn’t once you work it for a bit.The colors are bright and beautiful, and it has such a nice texture and feel to the clay. It’s easy to use, but it does dry quickly as I found out when I had to take a phone call and was away from working with clay for 20 minutes.Is definitely fun to work with, and the kids will love it, too! The quality of the client is great and I would recommend it.

Fun activity to do with your young one or by yourself. Comes with everything you need. You can download an app for step by step directions. The clay feel spongy and it's easy to mold. The colors are nice and bright too. It's not sticky. Now it didn't come out the way they did it but my daughter did try her best lol.

Good modeling clay! The texture is easy to mold and it holds its shape really well. It was a bit sticky at first (kind of like chewing gum) and made a little mess since it stuck to the lids and even pulled the divider out. A few of the containers had the colors slightly mixed, but that’s bound to happen anyway once the kids start playing. The colors are bright and fun, and overall, for ten bucks, it’s a solid deal that’ll definitely keep the kids entertained.

I got this for a unicorn-obsessed 3-year-old who loves clay, and her mom said she had a great time with it! You scan the QR code to get directions on the app, and your creation can be air-dried to become a collectible figure. Such a fun and creative activity!
